Turn an old lamp or plain lamp shade into a Monogrammed Lamp Shade for under $15!

As you can tell, I love our monogram on everything! My theory is is that if you mongoram everything, then no one will ever take anything from you unless they want your monogram on it :-) Easy way to turn that old lamp shade into a chic shade that everyone will want to know where you got it! You can have the privilage of saying you did it yourself!!
How to make:
Simply take an old shade (I used one that I already had which made this project under $15). If you buy a new shade then it will cost a little more, so I suggest that if you do have to get a shade, go to a yard sale or thirft store and find an old one there. If you don't like the color of it no problem! Paint it!! I ordered my Vinyl Monogram (6 Inches tall) in white Interlocking Script. Once you recieve it in the mail (which only took a few days) simple apply it to the shade. Some shaded are a little harder to do than others, you have to work with it depending on the texture. Don't worry if you put it on there and it looks like it's not sticking all the way, wait a few hours go back and smoothe out the letters.
